Bonzo Bridge Beta Launch & Security Update

We are excited to announce that the Bonzo Bridge is now live in Beta. Powered by LayerZero, Bonzo Bridge utilizes battle-tested cross-chain messaging infrastructure, move wBTC & wETH seamlessly between Hedera, Ethereum, Arbitrum ($wETH only), Base, and Optimism.

Important Security Update:

In an abundance of caution, BitGo has temporarily paused $wBTC bridging across its supported networks to ensure network-wide safety. Because Bonzo Bridge utilizes LayerZero OFT DVN infrastructure managed by BitGo, $wBTC bridging is currently paused on our platform, as of April 19. All funds remain safe, and we will provide further details as they become available.

In the meantime, $wETH transactions remain fully operational with Taxi Mode enabled by default, ensuring every transfer is processed individually for faster delivery.

Bonzo Vaults Exit Beta

Following successful community testing, Bonzo Yield Strategy Vaults are now in full production. You can now access 26 active vaults to automate your liquidity management and optimize your strategies on Hedera.

Hashgraph and Halborn Security Partnership

On April 15, Hashgraph announced a strategic collaboration with Halborn Security to elevate protections across the entire Hedera ecosystem. By combining Hedera’s consensus-level security with Halborn’s threat-detection expertise, the ecosystem is better positioned to support high-assurance applications in finance and AI.

Aave Labs Launches Aave Checkpoint

Aave Labs has introduced Aave Checkpoint, an AI-powered security pipeline designed to protect the protocol’s governance process. This system uses over 60 specialized AI agents to analyze proposals for vulnerabilities, such as oracle manipulation or malicious payloads, before they reach onchain execution. To ensure absolute safety, every AI report requires mandatory human sign-off from at least two independent reviewers.
