Bonzo Vaults: Audit Progress and Updated Launch Timeline

Bonzo Vaults are moving through their final audit cycle, with the launch planned shortly after the audit is complete. During testing, the team discovered additional issues that were not visible in the initial audit. This prompted a full re-review by Halborn, which is underway.

Brady explained that uncovering issues during deeper testing is exactly why this process exists and emphasized that the auditors are treating this phase with the level of scrutiny it deserves.

“Through that testing, our team found additional issues which prompted the re-audit. The auditors are taking it very seriously and have been a great partner.”

Once the re-audit is complete, the team will run a final internal review and an additional round of testing across edge cases. This ensures everything meets the quality standards expected before Bonzo Vaults go live.

Thanks again to the Bonzo community for your patience and support. Choosing safety over speed remains the focus as the team prepares Bonzo Vaults for a December mainnet launch.

Bonzo Merch Contest

The team is running a Bonzo Finance merch contest through December 29, and everyone in the community is invited to participate! To enter, post a creative photo that includes Bonzo merch and tag @bonzo_finance. Using #BonzoMerch is optional, but it helps the team see all entries in one place.

Anyone can participate. No purchase is required. If someone does not have merch, they can still enter by posting an original Bonzo-themed photo, artwork, or graphic and tagging the account.

There will be three winners, and each winner will receive a Desert Bonzo NFT. Each of these NFTs includes a claim for 6,270 $BONZO tokens. The Bonzo Finance Labs team will select winners based on creativity and presentation. The deadline to enter is December 29 at 11:59 PM UTC.

Axelar Integration Goes Live on Hedera

Hedera users now have a new cross-chain option. Axelar Network is officially integrated with Hedera, giving users a direct pathway to move assets between Hedera and more than sixty major blockchains, including Arbitrum, Solana, and XRPL.

This integration connects Hedera to large liquidity pools and a wide range of decentralized applications across Web3. Several Hedera projects are already adopting Axelar. SaucerSwap is integrating Axelar transfers directly into its interface, making cross-chain transfers simpler for everyday users.

Axelar uses a Delegated Proof of Stake model to validate transfers, along with smart contracts that enable programmable cross-chain communication. Developers can now tap into Axelar to build Hedera applications that reach users and liquidity across dozens of ecosystems.

This expansion strengthens Hedera’s overall interoperability and provides the community with greater flexibility for cross-chain interactions.

Brady noted that this is a meaningful step for Hedera’s cross-chain infrastructure and emphasized the importance of bringing major assets into the ecosystem.

“Axelar and LayerZero are the top two bridges. More bridges are great as long as the ecosystem adapts properly. Hopefully assets start flowing in, especially majors. The goal now is making sure it is done right now that the infrastructure is in place.”

Briefium Launch

A new tool called Briefium has launched this week. It is a free, AI-powered news aggregator built specifically for the Hedera ecosystem. It was created by Logan, an engineer at Hashgraph, and it scans more than fifty sources in real time to pull together Hedera, HBAR, and Hashgraph-related updates.

Briefium automatically filters relevant stories, categorizes them, and generates short summaries that link back to the original articles. The goal is to give the community a single place to keep up with ecosystem news without having to monitor dozens of channels.

The project began as a one-day hackathon idea and later developed into a full product. It has now become an everyday tool for tracking ecosystem announcements, development updates, partnership news, and broader market context related to Hedera.

SaucerSwap Wallet For iOS Is Here

SaucerSwap has released its new SaucerSwap Wallet for iOS, now available through TestFlight. This is a full production build with native HTS support, zero interface fees for a limited time, and a polished user experience designed specifically for mobile trading.

The wallet is fully self-custodial. Users control their keys on their own device, and the app is protected with biometric FaceID and auto-lock. The entire codebase has been audited by Quantstamp, and a comprehensive bug bounty was completed with no critical or high-severity issues found.

The wallet supports swaps for HTS and bridged assets, staking and unstaking $SAUCE, and real-time portfolio tracking. SaucerSwap says this distills the core SaucerSwap experience into a clean mobile interface.

The only reason the release is limited is because the team is still waiting on Apple. The app has been in the review queue for months, even after compliance reviews and technical responses. Until Apple gives final approval, SaucerSwap is opening its internal TestFlight to the community, with 10,000 slots available.

Coinbase Launches Crypto-Backed Loans

Coinbase officially launched its new crypto-backed loans product this week. Customers in the United States, excluding New York, can now borrow up to $5 million in USDC against Bitcoin and up to $1 million against Ethereum, without selling their crypto. Coinbase says support for more assets and more countries is coming next.

The feature is powered by Morpho, the open lending protocol on Base. When a customer takes a loan, their BTC or ETH is automatically converted to cbBTC or cbETH and supplied to Morpho onchain, which sets interest rates through its open-market lending pool. Loans have flexible, open-ended repayment with no fixed schedule.

The process takes under a minute, and users can hold the USDC, use it onchain, send it globally, or convert it to USD for major expenses. Coinbase positions this as an example of how onchain finance can deliver faster and simpler financial services while still relying on decentralized infrastructure under the hood.

Bitwise Launches XRP ETF On The NYSE

Bitwise Asset Management launched its new XRP ETF this week on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker XRP. The fund charges a 0.34 percent management fee, which Bitwise is waiving for the first month on the first $500 million in assets. This gives traditional investors spot access to XRP through a regulated investment product.

Bitwise highlighted XRP’s long track record, its role in global payment flows, and the growing tokenization activity happening on the XRP Ledger. Recent on-chain developments include tokenized treasuries, commercial paper, private credit, and money market funds, which are helping drive more interest in payment-layer blockchains.

This launch follows Canary Capital’s earlier XRP ETF and comes as other issuers, such as Franklin Templeton and 21Shares, prepare similar products. Market watchers expect continued momentum in regulated crypto investment options as more real-world assets move on-chain and payment-focused networks gain attention.

Brady pointed out that launches like this benefit the entire crypto space, regardless of which network someone prefers.

“Regardless of the tribe, everybody should be aligned with the progress of crypto entering the mainstream. This is a great example of that.”

How Hedera Plans Enterprise-Grade Adoption

This interview with Rob Allen, Director of Hedera’s Enterprise Adoption Team (HEAT), explores why so many enterprise blockchain pilots stall and how Hedera is working to bridge the gap between proofs of concept and real production. The discussion covers HEAT’s role as a coordination layer for enterprise projects, HashSphere’s hybrid model for privacy and regulated deployments, and the four pillars driving Hedera’s next wave of adoption: stablecoins, tokenization, ESG, and AI provenance. It is an in-depth look at how Hedera is positioning itself for real enterprise scale.

Connect AI to Hedera Blockchain Data

The Hgraph MCP Server connects AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT directly to Hedera blockchain data. Query the network using natural language—no coding required. AI assistants have general blockchain knowledge but cannot access live, network-specific data on their own—they need a real-time connection to Hedera's network, which is what this MCP connector provides.

Built by Hgraph, it provides enriched data from bare-metal Hedera mirror nodes, with real-time updates, DeFi metrics, and comprehensive network analytics.
