🔒 Halborn Audit Completed for Bonzo Vaults

Security firm Halborn successfully completed a smart contract audit for Bonzo Finance. The audit covers the Beefy Hedera Contracts for the upcoming Bonzo Vaults, which will introduce automated yield strategies.

This marks an important milestone as we move closer to launching Bonzo Vaults on the Liquidity Layer of Hedera.

🍌 Bonzo Points Season 3 Wraps / Season 4 Begins

Season 3 officially ended on September 3, with $BONZO claims opening on September 5. Season 4 is now live and runs through December 8, 2025.

Like prior seasons, points are earned daily:
- 2 points for every $1 supplied
- 8 points for every $1 borrowed

🌐 Bonzo Finance App & Homepage Redesign

A complete redesign is now live on both bonzo.finance and app.bonzo.finance. The dashboard now matches the updated homepage for a consistent experience across web and app, with a mobile-first layout, improved accessibility, and clearer visibility of key metrics.

🤖 Showcasing AI Agents on Hedera

CTO Gaurang joined Michael Kantor (Hashgraph Online) and Fil (HashPack) for a livestream demonstration of how AI Agents can autonomously interact with Bonzo Finance to lend, borrow, and manage strategies on Hedera. The session demonstrated how autonomous AI-driven agents can interact with Hedera protocols to execute DeFi strategies, opening new possibilities for automation in lending, borrowing, and beyond.

🪪 HCS-14: Universal Agent ID Standard Introduced

Hashgraph Online introduced HCS-14: the Universal Agent ID, a new standard to unify agent identities across networks and protocols.

HCS-14 provides a cryptographically verifiable, network-agnostic identifier for AI agents, with two modes:

- Deterministic AID generated from six stable fields
- DID wrapper that supports W3C DIDs while adding routing parameters

Identifiers remain stable even if endpoints change, enabling a single agent to maintain the same ID across Hedera, EVM, OLAS, and other systems.

The Standards SDK already ships with a Hedera adapter but is open for community-contributed adapters. Developers are encouraged to test the SDK and provide feedback on the draft specification.

💼  Archax Launches Pool Tokens on Hedera

UK-regulated digital asset exchange Archax launched Pool Tokens on Hedera, allowing on-chain creation of multi-asset portfolios. The first Pool Token combines money market funds from Aberdeen, BlackRock, State Street, and Legal & General.

📰 SEC Launches “Project Crypto” Framework

At the OECD’s first Global Financial Markets Roundtable in Paris, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins delivered the keynote speech announcing Project Crypto.

This new initiative marks a pivot away from “regulation by enforcement” toward clear, predictable rules for digital assets. Atkins said: “The era of uncertainty is coming to an end.”

Project Crypto will modernize securities laws, define token classifications, and give startups a path to compliance. Atkins also highlighted the growing role of AI in finance, predicting a future where AI-powered agents help manage trading and risk.
