February has been a huge month for Bonzo Finance — and we’re heading into March with major updates, including the end of Season 1 Points, the launch of Season 2, a new AMA format, and the protocol’s integration of Chainlink price feeds on Hedera. Let’s dive in!
💎Bonzo Points Season 1 Wrap-Up & Next Steps
Bonzo Points Season 1 ended on February 28, and Season 2 is officially live as of March 1!
$BONZO claims for Season 1 and single-sided staking will launch in conjunction by mid-March, ensuring tokens can be staked immediately. The total allocation of tokens for Season 1 has increased to 10,000,000 $BONZO to better reward early participants and community members.
Cybernetic NFT commemorative airdrops & 20+ NFT holder $BONZO bonuses have been distributed.
Single-Sided Staking
Single-sided staking is a top priority and will launch alongside Season 1 claims. This requires rigorous development, security testing, and audits to ensure a secure and scalable staking vault. The timeline is approximately 2 weeks into March, pending an expedited audit from Halborn.
🔗Chainlink Integration – First on Hedera
Bonzo Finance is now the first protocol on Hedera to integrate Chainlink Price Feeds! This enhances security, reliability, and transparency for $BONZO, starting with HBAR/USD and USDC/USD price feeds. An upcoming Twitter Space event with Bonzo x Chainlink x Hedera Foundation is planned for mid-March.

🍌 Bonzo at ETHDenver, HederaCon, & Karate Combat
ETH Denver was a huge success for Bonzo Finance! The team was thrilled to represent Bonzo Finance Labs at the official Bonzo booth at HederaCon, where they got to connect with both longtime supporters and new faces in the community. It was great to see such strong energy and engagement around Hedera, with Bonzo also making an appearance at the Hedera booth and several side events throughout the week.
Bonzo Finance Labs Co-Founder & CEO presented on the HederaCon DeFi panel “Swap, Lend, and More: A Look at DeFi on Hedera” alongside Chainlink and HeadStarter, with Charles Adkins, CEO of HBAR Foundation, moderating.

The HashPack/Turtle Moon dinner the night before HederaCon was a great way to catch up with familiar faces, including members of the Hashgraph Online DAO and other builders in the ecosystem. These in-person gatherings continue to strengthen the Hedera community and open doors for new collaborations.
