The $BONZO Token Generation Event (TGE) is Almost Here!

The Bonzo Finance Token Generation Event (TGE) is taking place on Friday, February 21! This is your complete guide to claiming and supplying your $BONZO governance tokens as an NFT holder or pre-season points earner.

Whether you hold a 1st Edition Bonzo NFT, Cybernetic Bonzo NFT, or you're an earner of “Pre-Season Bonzo Points” this guide has everything you need to know about the claim process.

The newly developed "claim dashboard" (available on TGE) will be home to all token claims related to the Bonzo Finance protocol.

$BONZO 1st Edition NFT Holder Distributions

Holders of Desert Bonzo, Ocean Bonzo, Space Bonzo, and Singularity Bonzo NFTs will be able to claim 75% of their allocated $BONZO tokens starting at TGE via the claim dashboard.

✅ How It Works:

  • 75% of the allocated $BONZO tokens can be claimed immediately at TGE through the claim dashboard within the Bonzo Finance front-end application.

  • The remaining 25% of the allocated $BONZO tokens will be available for claim on or after May 31, 2025.

  • The 1st Edition Bonzo NFT is not burned during this process and points multipliers are still active after claiming.

  • Holders can check the claim status of their NFT by serial number via the official NFT checker which will be live at TGE.

🔒 Optional Liquidity Supply for $BONZO Token Claims

After claiming $BONZO tokens, holders will have the option to supply $BONZO tokens and/or $HBAR to a SaucerSwap ICHI auto pool to earn more $BONZO as a reward. Details on rewards will be made available soon.

$BONZO Cybernetic NFT Holder Distributions

Holders of Cybernetic Bonzo NFTs will be able to claim 75% of their allocated $BONZO tokens at TGE through HeadStarter.

✅ How It Works:

  • 75% of the allocated $BONZO tokens can be claimed at TGE via HeadStarter. Holders can burn their Cybernetic NFT at any time to receive their tokens.

  • Holders must burn their Cybernetic NFT to receive their tokens.

  • Upon burning, holders will be airdropped a surprise commemorative NFT featuring new art within 48 hours.

  • The commemorative NFT retains Discord role access for community perks.

  • Holders who do not burn their NFT continue earning a points multiplier for Bonzo Points.

  • The final 25% of tokens can be claimed exactly 4 months after the NFT is burned.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The Bonzo Cybernetic NFT Collectible grants holders a 1.05x points multiplier, which is stackable with itself and existing Bonzo Finance NFT Collectibles up to a total stacking cap of 2.0x.

  • Once a Cybernetic NFT is burned for $BONZO, the points multiplier is lost.

  • If a holder wants to retain their points multiplier, they may choose to burn the NFT at a later date.

Bonus $BONZO Tokens for 20+ NFT Holders

In addition to the distributions above, certain NFT holders who purchased 20+ NFTs at the time of sale qualify for bonus $BONZO tokens based on two snapshots.

  • ✅ One taken at the end of the NFT sale.

  • ✅ One taken prior to TGE (date and time undisclosed).

If an address meets both snapshot requirements, the bonus tokens will be airdropped directly to the associated account.

🎁 Additional Bonus Details

If a single account purchases and holds 20+ NFTs of a specific 1st Edition Bonzo type, they will receive a bonus $BONZO distribution:

  • 4,125 $BONZO → for holding 20+ Desert Bonzo NFTs

  • 12,375 $BONZO → for holding 20+ Ocean Bonzo NFTs

  • 24,875 $BONZO → for holding 20+ Space Bonzo NFTs

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The 20+ NFT threshold applies to each type separately — Desert, Ocean, and Space NFTs cannot be combined to qualify.

  • The NFTs must be held at the time of both snapshots to receive the bonus.

  • The second snapshot will be taken randomly before TGE, and its exact date and time will not be disclosed.

  • The bonus distribution will be made in full to qualifying NFT holding accounts within 48 hours of TGE.

Pre-Season Bonzo Points

The Pre-Season Bonzo Points campaign kicked off on Friday, September 13th, 2024, at 4:00 PM ET with a snapshot.

If an account you control was holding any of the following assets during this snapshot, you have Pre-Season Bonzo Points that can be used to claim $BONZO governance tokens at TGE: HBARX, USDC, SAUCE, XSAUCE, PACK, DOVU, KARATE, HST, and STEAM.

🎁 Pre-Season Points Details

  • 0.5% of the supply of $BONZO governance tokens (2,000,000 $BONZO) are allocated to the pre-season points program.

  • Users can claim $BONZO tokens from the pre-season points program from within the same claims dashboard used for Bonzo NFT Collectibles.

  • The pre-season points token claim will be available for 45 days.

  • All unclaimed $BONZO tokens will be re-distributed on a regression curve to accounts that participated in the claim process for pre-season points.
