Empowering the Bonzo Community

We’ve significantly updated the $BONZO tokenomics, Bonzo Points program, and upcoming Pre-TGE NFT sale to strengthen the Bonzo Finance ecosystem and empower its community. 

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s new:

• Pre-TGE NFT Sale: A new NFT sale is launching soon via HeadStarter! These NFTs will offer community utility and will be burnable for $BONZO tokens post-TGE — an exciting additional entry point into the Bonzo ecosystem.

• Bonzo NFT Collectibles: Great news for Bonzo NFT Collectibles holders — the $BONZO token allocation for Bonzo NFT Collectibles holders has nearly doubled, from 5.3% of the total supply (21.27M $BONZO) to 10% (40M $BONZO). This rewards early supporters of the Bonzo Finance protocol.

• Accelerated Distribution: The $BONZO token distribution to Bonzo NFT Collectible holders has been accelerated, ensuring earlier access to $BONZO; this rewards early supporters of the Bonzo Finance protocol, while ensuring widespread distribution of the protocol’s native token at TGE 🌐

• Claimable $BONZO for Pre-Season Points: 0.5% of the maximum supply (2,000,000 $BONZO) will be distributed (made “claimable”) at TGE, for Bonzo Pre-Season Point earners.
  

• Streamlined Treasury: The emergency reserve allocation has been reallocated to the Bonzo Treasury, ensuring robust support for protocol growth.

As the Bonzo Finance protocol evolves, so does its commitment to the community that’s supported it thus far. With these updates, Bonzo Finance is empowering everyone to take part in building a stronger Hedera DeFi landscape.

Bonzo Points: Updated Schedule

Season One kicked-off on the October 28 launch of the Bonzo Finance protocol on Hedera mainnet! Earn points on supplied assets and climb the leaderboard. 

To get $BONZO tokens widely spread throughout the community earlier in the protocol’s lifecycle, changes to the Bonzo Points season schedule(s) have been adjusted.

Curious about how Bonzo Points translate to $BONZO rewards? 

Instead of a fixed conversion rate, Bonzo Finance uses a regression curve model to ensure fair token distribution based on total points earned by all users. This method, common in Web3 airdrops, guarantees rewards are distributed equitably at the end of each season. Plus, keeping the conversion flexible makes it harder for bad actors to game the system.
