Mainnet Launch: Monday, October 28, 2024
The wait is finally over! On Monday, Bonzo Finance officially goes live on the Hedera mainnet. This is your opportunity to be part of DeFi 2.0 by lending assets, earning rewards, and climbing the Bonzo Points leaderboard.
Here’s what you can do starting Monday:
Lend $HBAR, $HBARX, $USDC, $SAUCE, $XSAUCE, $KARATE, $STEAM, $HST, $DOVU, and $PACK.
Supply assets, earn rewards, and collect Bonzo Points right away.
Track your progress on the Bonzo Points dashboard: app.bonzo.finance/points.
Plus, early liquidity providers for $STEAM and $KARATE can start earning extra rewards through liquidity incentives.
Supra Oracles Now Online
We’re excited to share that Supra Oracles came back online on Monday, October 21. Supra is now fully integrated with Bonzo Finance, ensuring secure and accurate price feeds for all assets from day one. This guarantees a reliable protocol right from the start.
Karate Combat’s UP Layer 2 Platform
Karate Combat has announced UP, a new Layer 2 blockchain built on Hedera, set to launch in Q1 2025. This platform will allow partners to clone, customize, and launch apps with zero licensing fees.
Users will wrap and stake their tokens to UP on Hedera to access the Up Only Gaming software stack. This move further strengthens Hedera's reach in the sports and institutional DeFi spaces.
LayerZero Integration with Hedera
LayerZero, the omnichain interoperability protocol, has expanded to Hedera, connecting the network to liquidity from 70+ blockchains. This integration boosts DeFi growth by opening Hedera to institutional liquidity flows and cross-chain opportunities.
Kraken Announces New Layer-2 Network
Kraken is launching Ink, a Layer-2 network built on Optimism’s OP Stack, with a go-live date set for early 2025. Ink will join Coinbase’s Base and others in the Superchain, expanding DeFi application support and solidifying Optimism as a leading Layer-2 provider.
Pennsylvania Passes Crypto Bill
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed a bipartisan bill to bring regulatory clarity to digital assets. The bill covers self-custody rights, bitcoin payments, and transaction taxation, and now moves to the Pennsylvania Senate for further consideration.
