As we approach the finish line for mainnet launch, we’ve got important updates and progress to share. Let’s get into the latest Bonzo news!

Road to Mainnet Launch | Supra Oracles

The momentum toward Bonzo Finance’s mainnet launch is building! We’re getting closer to a key milestone, with recent developments pushing us one step closer to the finish line.

The HBAR Foundation development grant for Bonzo is in its final stages, and we’ll update the community with more details soon. Supra Oracles are ready to launch, though a few hurdles remain. While we’re expecting this to be resolved soon, there’s no clear timeline yet.

Since mid-August, Supra paused their support for push price feeds on Hedera, but they’ve made great progress and are ready to go live. However, external factors have delayed the integration. We’re currently considering all options, including launching on mainnet with limited functionality before the launch of Supra oracles. Our top priority is delivering a secure and functional platform as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we’re integrating SaucerSwap price feeds as a temporary fix to display asset prices and collateral values in the Bonzo UI. Don’t worry — these feeds are for display only and won’t be used for critical activities like liquidations or borrowing.

By the time borrowing is enabled, which we expect once we hit certain TVL milestones (more details to come), we anticipate Supra’s feeds will be fully online. While nothing is set in stone yet, we’re actively exploring every option to ensure we launch with the right safeguards and deliver a smooth, secure user experience.
