We’ve got some exciting updates to share from this week’s Bonzo Bytes 𝕏 Space. With pre-season airdrops wrapped up, we’re gearing up for what’s next in Season 1. Plus, we’ll dive into the latest happenings in the Hedera ecosystem and key trends across web3. There’s a lot to cover — let’s get started!
Pre-Season Bonzo Points Airdrops Complete!
After weeks of action-packed airdrops, the Pre-Season Bonzo Points program is officially complete! We distributed an incredible 60,974,081 Bonzo Points to 62,136 unique accounts, giving thousands of users a head start before the official mainnet launch and the start of Season One. These pre-season points will determine claimable $BONZO after the Token Generation Event (TGE), taking place no later than 3 months after the mainnet launch.

A brand-new search functionality is live on desktop and mobile. This allows for searching by account ID on the leaderboard, with HNS search coming soon!

Road to Mainnet Launch | Supra Oracles
Supra Oracles
As of September 8th, Supra is technically ready to go live! However, they’ve been awaiting a grant from the HBAR Foundation, which was expected to be finalized around September 9th. Their ability to launch services is tied to this grant, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate this process.
Back in August, Supra paused support for their push price feeds on Hedera. Since then, they've made excellent progress, and we’re optimistic about getting Supra integrated as soon as the grant situation is finalized.
HBAR Foundation Grant
Last week, we shared that the "tech review" with the HBAR Foundation concluded on September 20th, and we were informed of a strategic shift: Instead of offering just liquidity incentives, the Foundation plans to partner with market makers to seed initial liquidity. This reduces risk and positions us for faster progress once everything is finalized.
While we don't necessarily need the liquidity incentives or seed liquidity to proceed, we do require written confirmation that the grant is approved before moving forward. We’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s more to share!
We know delays can be frustrating, and we feel the same. The Bonzo team is working hard behind the scenes to ensure a smooth and successful launch, creating a robust and reliable platform for all users.

Grayscale Launches Aave Fund
Big news from Grayscale! One of the largest crypto asset managers has launched a new fund focused on Aave’s AAVE token, marking a major expansion into decentralized finance. Known for their Bitcoin and Ethereum Trusts, Grayscale is now offering traditional investors a way to access DeFi protocols via familiar investment products.
This signals growing institutional interest in DeFi, and we’re excited to see where it leads.
